NOTICE OF SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF ELECTORS TO APPROVE HIGHWAY EXPENDITURES AND ADOPT TAX LEVY
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 immediately following the completion of the Pubic Hearing on the proposed budget which begins at 6:45 p.m. at the Town Hall of Byron, at N3097 State Road 175, Byron, Wisconsin, a special town meeting of the electors, called by the town board pursuant to sec. 60.12(1)(c) of the Wisconsin Statues, will be held for the following purposes:
- To approve the total 2019 highway expenditures pursuant to sec. 82.03(2) of the Wisconsin Statues.
- To adopt the 2018 town tax levy to be paid in 2019 pursuant to sec. 60.10(1)(a) of the Wisconsin Statues.
Immediately following this meeting the Town of Byron Board will meet for their November Board Meeting. The agenda and minutes are posted in the following locations: Kelley’s Country Creamery, Byron Town Hall and W6648 County Road Y in South Byron. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the public test of the voting equipment to be used at the November 6, 2018 General Election, will be conducted at the Byron Town Hall, N3097 HWY 175, Byron at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, per Chapter 5, sec 5.84 Wisconsin Statutes.
This public test is open to the general public.

The Byron Town Board will be in attendance at a Wisconsin Town Association District Meeting to be held in Stevens Point October 14-16, 2018. No discussion of current Tow business will take place and no decisions will be made.
